The Toaster

When considering the needs of a toaster within the context of today's kitchens,  a few key elements such as aesthetic, simplicity and niche application became the three most central concerns of the design. Kitchens today have so many crossover tools for food preparation, that a toaster, if it were to still have a place in the kitchen, had to be inconspicuously useful and simple to operate. This design was modeled using Rhino and rendered using Keyshot.

The Rhino

A pencil sharpener designed to give the impression of an object other than its obvious identity. In this case, the sharpener is designed to give the viewer an impression of a Rhinoceros.  Modeled with the intent of being manufacture ready. Included in the design are the necessary ribs and bosses, making it a manufacture and assembly ready product. Built using Solid Works and rendered in Keyshot.

Helmets

Using a Wacom tablet and Sketchbook Pro, I played around with the idea of helmets. In particular, I was aiming to come up with a helmet that blends the idea of sport and combat into a single, functional, sleek and interesting looking helmet.  Here are a few of the concepts I sketched out using the tablet.
