v.1 CabEasy
(the market making model)
CabEasy is a mobile platform that offers riders a way to bid for their cab rides. Using pre-screened livery service providers, Cabeasy offers riders and livery service providers a way to "negotiate" a fare for a ride in real-time. It is intended to create a market around car service demand, which would be sensitive to the real-time effects of supply and demand in New York City. It is also designed to help livery providers quickly identify and serve demand in more efficient and cost effective ways than they currently have the capacity to do.

v.2 CabEasy
(the university specific model)
Cabeasy (www.Cabeasy.com) is a taxi sharing mobile platform that operates as a closed network, specifically for use by university students. It creates an environment for students, at individual universities, where they can reduce the cost of an on-demand taxi (think Uber or Lyft) by first linking up with other students who are headed to the same destinations. Cabeasy connects students to a community of riders they can trust by providing them with a way to share a taxi with someone from their school. School given email addresses are used as a way to identify which students belong to which networks. For example, if your school is Northwestern University, one would sign in using “student@u.northwestern.edu“
